These terms are the end-user license agreement between you and Obverse Labs for Budgeroo. By using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Your statutory consumer rights remain in place.
your license and account
We give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, subject to applicable store usage rules. We retain rights in the app, its design and brand. You retain your rights in the information you enter and permit us to process it to provide the service.
Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in secure and contact us if someone uses your account without permission. You must be able to enter this agreement under local law. The service is not intended for children under 13.
using the service
Use the app lawfully. Do not access another person's account, interfere with the service, bypass access controls or copy, resell or reverse engineer the app except where applicable law permits it.
The app helps you organize information you enter. It does not hold money, connect to your bank, make payments or provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Check your entries against your own records. Budget suggestions are estimates and do not guarantee a financial outcome.
subscriptions and the trial
Access after onboarding requires an active subscription. Monthly and yearly plans may include a 3-day free trial for eligible subscribers. Your store displays the price, trial eligibility and billing period before you confirm. After the trial, you are charged the displayed price for the selected period.
Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid a charge. Manage or cancel in Apple or Google Play subscription settings. Changes take effect according to the store's rules. The store displays your remaining access and renewal date.
Deleting the app or your account does not cancel your subscription. Use “restore purchase” with the purchasing store account to recover an active entitlement. The stores handle payments and refund requests under their policies, subject to your legal rights. See subscription help for the steps.
privacy and ending your account
Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data. You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. We may restrict access for a serious breach, unlawful activity or a security risk, giving notice and a chance to resolve it where appropriate. Deletion is permanent and does not remove obligations that lawfully survive termination.
availability and responsibility
We work to keep the service available and correct faults, but interruptions and errors can occur. To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided as available without additional warranties. We do not exclude any guarantee, remedy or liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or our negligence causing death or personal injury.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses or losses caused by inaccurate information you enter. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer remedies. If you have a problem, contact us so we can try to resolve it.
apple and google store terms
This agreement is with Obverse Labs, not Apple or Google. We provide app support and address product, consumer and intellectual property claims. Apple has no maintenance obligation. If the app fails an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple for a purchase-price refund. Apple has no further warranty obligation to the extent permitted by law.
On Apple devices, the license follows Apple's usage rules, including applicable Family Sharing or volume purchase rights. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce this agreement. You must comply with relevant third-party terms. You confirm you are not in a US-embargoed country or one designated as supporting terrorism, and are not on a US prohibited or restricted party list.
Google Play purchases and use are also subject to Google's applicable store terms. Store terms and mandatory law take priority where they require it.
changes and contact
We may update these terms as the service changes. We will update the date and give notice of material changes where required. Changes do not remove rights you already have under mandatory law.
